Coffee & Lunch: Coffee and drinks will be freely served in the pauses. The cafeterias at the Faculty of Philosophy and at the other faculties will be open on Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm. The colloquium will also offer free lunch at the mensa of the University, located in Plaza Mayor (see map of the University in Getting here). Tickets will be provided to the participants at the reception desk. All the rest of the cafeterias of the University, in particular that of the Faculty of Philosophy, offer rather good daily menus at good prices.

Final lunch: The organization of the colloquium invites all participants to a free final lunch on Saturday 18th. It will take place at the cafeteria of the Faculty of Philosophy. Reservation for the lunch can be done by e-mail before the colloquium or at the reception desk until 1 pm of Friday 17th. After the lunch, there will be a direct bus from the University campus to the center of Madrid to join the tour through the old quarter of Madrid.

The old quarter of Madrid has important monuments and buildings dated from Middle Ages to 19th century. It is a good opportunity to learn about the history of Madrid since its foundation and throughout the centuries in which it was the capital of the Spanish Empire and home of figures such as Miguel de Cervantes, Velázquez or Goya.
